Berry Blast Smoothie
This smoothie will give you a nourishing kick start to the day. It contains lots of heart-healthy fats and protein to keep hunger at bay. The almond and coconut butter deliver a creamy texture. Almonds are also rich in Vitamin E, a fat-soluble vitamin that is uniquely suited to intercepting the damaging effects of free radicals
- Put all ingredients into a blender and blend.
- 1 dessert spoon almond butter
- Half an avocado
- 1 tsp coconut butter/oil
- 2 tbsp raspberries (or blueberries/blackberries - fresh or frozen)
- 1 dessert spoon manuka honey or agave alternative
- Fresh ground cinnamon or vanilla powder to taste
- Almond milk to cover
- 600ml water
