What are the benefits of our Endo Support supplement?
When I formulated this product specifically for endometriosis, I very much wanted to support all the symptoms that women can experience with endometriosis. Not just the symptoms directly related to the condition, but those that also affect your mood, energy, sleep and your ability to cope with stress. It has been a particularly personal product to formulate, given my own endometriosis history.

So what are the benefits of taking Endo Support?
1. Supporting Healthy Oestrogen Levels
Women with endometriosis face more challenges with the natural production of oestrogen - often having higher levels of oestrogen which ‘drives’ and worsens the condition.
Excess oestrogen is also inflammatory which equally worsens the condition. When oestrogen is kept in check and balance, it allows another hormone called progesterone to stay at a healthy level.
Progesterone is supportive and protective for women with endometriosis.
Along with other carefully selected nutrients, and botanicals, Endo Support contains Vitamin B6 which contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity.
2. Supports Energy Production
Women with endometriosis report fatigue as a very common symptom, for several reasons:
- This can be fatigue directly connected to the condition. Dealing with such an all-encompassing disease is tiring.
- Nutrient deficiency or insufficiency. This is very common because the condition is very ‘draining’ on nutrient reserves and there is a loss of nutrients with heavy menstrual flow too.
- Recovering and healing from surgery.
- Stress: Many women with endometriosis find life very stressful - as living with the condition affects work, relationships, social life and mental health. Stress can be exhausting.
- Comorbidities are common in endometriosis: A comorbidity is the presence of one, or more additional conditions often co-occurring with a primary condition. Those other conditions such as thyroid issues, are tiring to live with too - so it can be a case of multiple issues creating fatigue and exhaustion.
Therefore specific nutrients have been included such as Iron and Magnesium to support natural energy production.
3. Supports Normal Psychological Function
The Parliamentary report into endometriosis sufferers living in the UK, showed that mental health was a major area of concern. Many women experience fluctuating moods or just don’t feel their best selves.
The report sadly exposed that women looked for psychological support but did not get the support they needed and this worsens their experience of the condition and the ability to cope.
Due to the long length of diagnosis, this delay can eat away at women’s mental resilience. In addition; many of the nutrients required for endometriosis are the same nutrients needed by the brain to support mood and mental health - and the body prioritises the nutrients to deal with the disease at the expense of the brain. Endo Support contains Magnesium, which contributes to normal psychological function.
4. Immune Support
Women with endometriosis experience issues with ‘normal’ immune function. The immune system can be yo-yoing between being weak in one sense, and then ‘over the top’ in another sense - hence being partly an autoimmune condition.
Women with endometriosis will report feeling like they pick up bugs and infections more easily. They will report feeling ‘run down’ and can even feel like they have symptoms of a cold or flu, just before their menstruation starts and during their period - as the endometriosis sites (the patches on the organs/tissue) are especially active, being angry and inflammatory in nature. This formula contains Zinc and Iron, which are key ingredients for helping maintain the normal function of the immune system.
A final word on diet and lifestyle...
While specific nutrients can help support the symptoms experienced with endometriosis. It is important to also support liver function through dietary and lifestyle changes. The liver plays an important role in the body’s natural detoxification processes, including removing waste and excess hormones. There is published research (1) and evidence to suggest that endometriosis is affected by environmental toxins that may worsen the condition. It is therefore recommended to eat whole, unprocessed foods where possible and include liver-loving foods such as fibre, green leafy vegetables and cruciferous vegetables such as cauliflower. Also aim to limit sugar, alcohol and processed foods in the diet.
