Hormone-Supportive Salad
This nutrient rich salad has all the components you need to support a happy healthy period. It contains iron and magnesium to replenish stores lost from menstruation whilst also supporting cramping. Vitamin C aids the absorption of the non-heme (plant) iron. Beetroot, spinach and rocket are high in nitrates which are converted into nitric oxide for oxygen and nutrient transportation around the body. It also packs a healthy dose of fibre to help effectively detox hormones and keep blood sugar balanced.

Method:
- Wash, drain and chop your salad leaves then put them in a bowl
- Add your cooked lentils to the bowl
- Chop your beetroot and feta into bite sized squares and add to the bowl
- Slice the orange into circular segments and cut away the peel then cut it into bite sized pieces
- Lightly toast the nuts and seeds in a cast iron pan for 5-10 minutes until the seeds have started to turn slightly golden brown and become fragrant then add to the bowl
- Mix together and enjoy!
