Ginger & Turmeric Wellness Shots
Boost your morning wellness with our fresh, homemade ginger shots.
Ingredients:
- 2 oranges, juiced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Large thumb-sized piece of ginger
- 1 tsp turmeric
- Dash of black pepper
- 1 tsp bee pollen
- 1 tsp Collagen 500 Plus
Increasingly popular each year, ginger shots are abundant in health benefits and can give you that get-up and go that we could all do with on a cold, dark morning! The good news is you can make them at home, both cost-effectively and easily, minus the plastic bottles and with more fresh ginger.
Method:

Carefully peel the ginger.

Chop the ginger into bite-sized pieces and add to a blender.

Juice the oranges and lemon. Add juices to the blender.
- Cut what's remaining of the oranges and add these chunks to the blender, too.

Blitz in the blender until no large pieces remain.

Pour the juice through a sieve into a jug to create a smoother consistency. You can keep the pulp and freeze this to add to other smoothies or porridge, but if you prefer a thicker consistency, you can skip this step.

Pour into an air-tight bottle and enjoy over the week.
