Why does this formula include botanical ingredients?
We have included clinically studied herbs and plant extracts Stinging Nettle and Fenugreek to provide traditional support during this life stage. Stinging Nettle (or Urtica Dioica) and Fenugreek have been used for centuries as galactagogue herbs (breast milk enhancers) to improve milk supply and quality for lactating women. Their natural supply of iron and other minerals means that they are also used as a nutritiously rich plant to nourish new mothers after birth.

Is this a multi nutrient?
No, this formula is a special combination of nutrients and botanicals facilitating easier feeding and milk supply by providing certain nutrients that are key for both mother and baby during breastfeeding. We recommend taking this alongside our Pregnancy + New Mother Support (as this is our multi for postpartum stages and breastfeeding).

When should I start taking your Breast Feeding Support?
You can begin taking this as soon as you give birth. Please do not take this during pregnancy. We recommend stocking up before you give birth so it is ready for you once your child has been born.

Our Food-Grown® Breast-Feeding Support ingredients
Ingredients: Lithothamnium Calcareum (Red algae) powder (providing Calcium), Fenugreek powder, Nutrient-enhanced Yeast (providing Iron, Zinc, Selenium and Vitamin B12), Vegetable cellulose (capsule shell), Stinging Nettle leaf and Marigold extract (providing Lutein).
Cautionary advice: If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or under medical supervision, consult your doctor before taking any food supplement. This product contains Iron which, if taken in excess, may be harmful to very young children. We advise taking your supplements a minimum of 2 hours after taking any medication. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not take if seal is broken. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
