Ingredients: Vegetable cellulose (capsule shell), Maitake Mushroom powder (Mycelised), Oyster Mushroom powder (Mycelised), Nutrient-enhanced Citrus pulp (providing Vitamin C and Bioflavonoids), Elderberry extract, N-Acetyl Cysteine, Nutrient-enhanced Yeast (providing Niacin, Selenium, GTF Chromium and Vitamin D3), Nutrient-enhanced Lactobacillus Bulgaricus (providing Zinc and Copper), Carrot concentrate (providing Beta-carotene).

Can I take this with your Vitamin D?

Yes, it’s important to supplement with additional Vitamin D during autumn and winter, so these two products work well in combination.

Can I take this with any of your Multi Vitamins?

Yes, absolutely – including all of those in our teenage ranges.

Can I take this whilst trying to conceive or pregnant?

Yes, you can – including whilst undergoing assisted fertility such as IVF. It is completely safe to take during pregnancy and can also be combined with our Pregnancy + New Mother Support.

Can I take this whilst breast-feeding?

Yes, this is completely safe to take whilst breast-feeding and will provide much needed healing support after birth, as well as strengthen your immune system whilst it’s more likely to be compromised from the fatigue of new motherhood.

Can my children take this?

Yes, children can take 1 capsule per day from weaning age, or 2 capsules per day if they are feeling unwell.

Does this support respiratory health?

Yes, this formula includes NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) which has been used to support respiratory health.

Do I need to supplement Vitamin D?

Vitamin D supplementation is officially recommended for all during autumn and winter. However, you should also supplement all year round if you are staying indoors for extended periods of time, have dark skin, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are feeling unwell.

What’s the difference between this supplement and other Vitamin Ds on the market?

Our formula contains a biologically 'active' form of Vitamin D3 - the same form that your body makes in response to sunlight.

Can I get enough Vitamin D from my diet alone?

10% of your Vitamin D intake can be found from meat, oily fish, dairy and eggs, however the other 90% will need to be obtained from consistent access to sunlight, or supplementation in the darker months.

Is this vegan?

No, this particular product is made from lanolin (the oil found in sheep’s wool).

Can I take this alongside your Food-Grown Immune Support?

Yes, you can. In fact, we recommend combining these two products during autumn and winter.

Is this a safe dose of Vitamin D?

Yes, it is. Our formula provides 1,000 iu (or 25ug), which is a safe level. If you have any questions regarding dosage for your particular circumstances, please contact our Nutritional Team for support.

Has this been ethically sourced?

Ethical sourcing is a vital consideration in all formulations, so the lanolin we use in this supplement is only ever taken from healthy sheep undergoing their seasonal shearing – never from those destined for slaughter.

Do I need to take more Vitamin D if I’m spending extended time indoors?

Yes, UK Public Health England recommends supplementation for all if you are spending more time indoors, such as if you are in enforced isolation – even during spring and summer.
