Simple Savoury Granola
A crunchy savoury granola that’s perfect for sprinkling over soups, salads, roasted vegetables, dips, hummus, bowls or toast

Nutrient-dense, our granola not only adds texture and a lovely umami flavour, but it also ups your protein and omega-3 intake. Great for supporting gut health, satiety, and balancing blood sugar.
Ingredients
- 1 cup jumbo oats
- ½ cup mixed seeds, such as pumpkin, sunflower and sesame
- ½ cup chopped nuts, such as almonds, walnuts or cashews
- 2 tbsps nutritional yeast
- 1 tbsp High Fibre Plus
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- A few cracks of black pepper
- 1 tsp fennel seeds/fresh rosemary (optional)
- 2 tbps olive oil
- 1 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- Lemon zest
Method

Preheat the oven to 160°C fan/180°C.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, mix the oats, seeds, chopped nuts, nutritional yeast, High Fibre Plus, smoked paprika, garlic powder, sea salt, black pepper and fennel seeds or rosemary, if using.

In a separate small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, tamari or soy sauce and maple syrup.

Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and toss well until everything is evenly coated.

Spread the mixture out onto the lined baking tray in a thin, even layer.

Bake for 20–25 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until golden and crisp. Keep an eye on the edges so they don’t catch.

Remove from the oven, top with the lemon zest and leave to cool completely on the tray to crisp up.

Store in an airtight jar for up to two weeks.
