What is the recommended dosage of Metabolaid®?

Can I take the Weight Management Support formula if I’m not overweight?

Can I take this whilst pregnant or breastfeeding?

Can I take this supplement for PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome)?
PCOS sufferers commonly exhibit insulin resistance, impaired glucose metabolism, hypertension and metabolic syndrome, among other concerns. Weight Management Support contains key nutrients like Zinc, which aids macronutrient metabolism, and Chromium, which helps maintain normal blood glucose. It also includes Metabolaid®, which is scientifically shown to support optimal metabolic function and fatty acid metabolism. As a result, this supplement may be beneficial for women with PCOS symptoms at various life stages. Could Weight Management Support affect my digestion and daily rhythm?
The formula, in fact, contains beetroot and apple pectin, which provide sources of soluble fibre to support digestive function and overall wellbeing. It also contains Food-Grown® nutrients, which are not only kinder on digestion but are as close to their original food form as possible, so they’re better absorbed and better retained.
Do I need to take a multinutrient alongside this product?
Weight Management Support contains an array of vitamins and minerals to support the nutrients that may often be lost during a weight loss programme or restricted eating period. However, a multinutrient or other food supplements may provide additional support depending on your individual needs.
Is Metabolaid® safe to take on a long-term basis?
Metabolaid® is generally considered safe to take long-term; however, like any food supplement, we always recommend speaking with one of our nutritional experts.
When is the best time for me to take Weight Management Support?
It can be taken at any time of the day that suits you the most. We recommend taking it two hours before or after taking any medication.

If I stay on Weight Management Support, will I continue to lose weight?
As for any dietary intervention, be it supplements, dietary changes or exercise, it’s common for consumers to reach a plateau in their weight transition. We always advise speaking with our expert nutritional team to understand your personal circumstances and steer you from there.
Why is your dose so low compared to many others?
It is all about the molecular ‘Dalton’ weight of Collagen, rather than the dose. We use an ultra low Dalton weight, proven to be absorbed in as little as five minutes. Due to the combination of di & tri peptides, it is highly bioactive once absorbed. This really is a case that less is more.
What is so special about 500 Dalton weight, rather than 2000 or 3000. Is there really a difference?
The short answer is yes. Studies show that the lower the molecular weight, the greater the absorption is. But crucially, when the weight drops below the golden ratio of 500, the peptides begin to break up and are less effective in terms of their bioactivity.
Can this powder be added to any drink?
Yes, you can add to any hot or cold drink of your choice. Mix 1 teaspoon (3 grams) thoroughly into any cold or hot drink.
What is Silica (Mesoporosil®) used in the product for?
Derived from sand (silica), and using a patented process with decades of development, its' incredibly small mesh size is optimally absorbed and stimulates Collagen synthesis. The combination of 500 Dalton weight Marine Collagen and Mesoporosil® Silicium is a true game changer.
What’s the difference between this and Complete Beauty Support?
Complete Beauty Support is a blend of vitamins, minerals, botanicals and the special feature ingredient - our low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid. Collagen and Hyaluronic acid are naturally found in the body. The Complete Beauty Support naturally supports collagen levels in the body, but it does not contain collagen. Both can be taken together as products, but if you are looking more specifically for Hyaluronic Acid support then choose Complete Beauty Support.
Can I add this to my morning coffee?
Yes the powder is unflavoured so is designed to be added to your favourite drink as an easy way to take daily.
Is this vegetarian?
Contains Marine Collagen from fish, so this product is not vegetarian/vegan. This product is pescatarian as it does not contain any animal products such as bovine collagen.
Are there any allergens in this product?
Yes this product is derived from fish but contains no other allergens.
Is this product sustainable and ethical?

The fish is caught and processed within 24 hours as the processing facility is next to the fish farm - This ensures optimal organoleptic properties, as there is no risk of fermentation or degradation, resulting in the highest quality collagen.
Can I take this product at any age?
Collagen levels decline from our mid-twenties, so this product is beneficial from this age but especially more so for ageing skin.
Can I take this product if I am looking to conceive, pregnant or breastfeeding?
Collagen is a naturally occurring protein that supports skin, joints, and connective tissues. While many women choose to take it during pregnancy or breastfeeding, there are no clinical studies confirming its safety in these life stages. We recommend speaking with your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement.
I noticed you also sell a Food-Grown® Organic Protein + Superfood Powder, is that the same as using collagen?
Collagen is a protein that provides structure and support to the body's connective tissues, skin, muscles, bones, tendons, ligaments, hair and nails. It's the most abundant protein in the body, making up about 30% of the body's total protein. Our protein powder provides other types of amino acids (smaller broken down protein) and is more designed to support other areas of your health such as energy and healthy psychology. Protein powders are also used more like an addition to your daily food/meals intake and it contains botanical mushrooms.

Despite being from a protein source there are negligible amounts of protein within this product. Do I need to take this if I already eat oily fish?
The recommendation is to eat at least 2 portions of oily fish per week, anything less and supplementation should be considered to support your nutritional requirements.
Can I take this if I’m pregnant?
Yes, our formula does not include Vitamin A or any toxins, so it is safe to take during pregnancy. We would recommend taking our Pregnancy + New Mother Omega 3 which has been formulated specifically for those life changing four trimesters.
Does this Omega 3 contain Vitamin A?
No, it does not.
Does this contain PCBSs or any other toxins or heavy metals?
No, our fish oil has been independently tested and certified to be free of any toxic substances. Our certification exceeds the official EU & UK requirements, so you can rest assured that our formula is exceptionally pure.
Can I take this product if I am trying to conceive or undergoing IVF?
Yes, it is absolutely safe to take during preconception (including assisted fertility) and in fact is often recommended by experts for both female and male partners during this time.
Is this a cod liver oil or does it contain oil extracted from the liver of the fish?
No, the Omega 3 source is from sustainable Alaskan Pollock fish and does not contain any oil from the liver of the fish. Our formula does not include Vitamin A and has been independently tested and certified to be free of any toxic substances.
