What type of Magnesium is this?
Our magnesium is Food-Grown®, meaning that it is easily absorbed, kinder to your digestive system and better used by your body.
Can I take this alongside other products in your range containing Magnesium?
Yes, you can. Many people don't get enough Magnesium from their daily diets, and women will often require more during and after menstruation in order to replenish lost levels. Those that are particularly physically active should also supplement extra to support muscles and reduce tiredness and fatigue.
If I take this in the day will I feel drowsy?
No, Magnesium can be taken any time of day, supporting a sense of equilibrium and reduction in fatigue.
Can this cause an upset stomach?
Our Food-Grown® formula is gentle on digestion and less likely to cause an upset stomach.
Can I take this if I am looking to conceive or already pregnant/breastfeeding?
Yes, our Magnesium is safe to use during all those stages. And may be helpful when you are giving away more of your Magnesium levels during gestation or when you need more energy to produce breast milk. Magnesium is calming, so it's also ideal if you are trying to conceive but not feeling relaxed or can be great if you feel your nerves are frazzled looking after a newborn.
Who can benefit from taking magnesium?
Magnesium is important to help support normal muscle function, reduce tiredness and fatigue and maintain electrolyte balance and so is a prime mineral to take if you are regularly physically active. Teens and women with a menstrual cycle should also consider supplementing extra magnesium during and after their period to ensure mineral levels.
Why is your dose so low compared to many others?
It is all about the molecular ‘Dalton’ weight of Collagen, rather than the dose. We use an ultra low Dalton weight, proven to be absorbed in as little as five minutes. Due to the combination of di & tri peptides, it is highly bioactive once absorbed. This really is a case that less is more.
What is so special about 500 Dalton weight, rather than 2000 or 3000. Is there really a difference?
The short answer is yes. Studies show that the lower the molecular weight, the greater the absorption is. But crucially, when the weight drops below the golden ratio of 500, the peptides begin to break up and are less effective in terms of their bioactivity.
Can this powder be added to any drink?
Yes, you can add to any hot or cold drink of your choice. Mix 1 teaspoon (3 grams) thoroughly into any cold or hot drink.
What is Silica (Mesoporosil®) used in the product for?
Derived from sand (silica), and using a patented process with decades of development, its' incredibly small mesh size is optimally absorbed and stimulates Collagen synthesis. The combination of 500 Dalton weight Marine Collagen and Mesoporosil® Silicium is a true game changer.
What’s the difference between this and Complete Beauty Support?
Complete Beauty Support is a blend of vitamins, minerals, botanicals and the special feature ingredient - our low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid. Collagen and Hyaluronic acid are naturally found in the body. The Complete Beauty Support naturally supports collagen levels in the body, but it does not contain collagen. Both can be taken together as products, but if you are looking more specifically for Hyaluronic Acid support then choose Complete Beauty Support.
Can I add this to my morning coffee?
Yes the powder is unflavoured so is designed to be added to your favourite drink as an easy way to take daily.
Is this vegetarian?
Contains Marine Collagen from fish, so this product is not vegetarian/vegan. This product is pescatarian as it does not contain any animal products such as bovine collagen.
Are there any allergens in this product?
Yes this product is derived from fish but contains no other allergens.

Can I take this product at any age?
Collagen levels decline from our mid-twenties, so this product is beneficial from this age but especially more so for ageing skin.
Can I take this product if I am looking to conceive, pregnant or breastfeeding?
Collagen is a naturally occurring protein that supports skin, joints, and connective tissues. While many women choose to take it during pregnancy or breastfeeding, there are no clinical studies confirming its safety in these life stages. We recommend speaking with your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement.

Collagen is a protein that provides structure and support to the body's connective tissues, skin, muscles, bones, tendons, ligaments, hair and nails. It's the most abundant protein in the body, making up about 30% of the body's total protein. Our protein powder provides other types of amino acids (smaller broken down protein) and is more designed to support other areas of your health such as energy and healthy psychology. Protein powders are also used more like an addition to your daily food/meals intake and it contains botanical mushrooms.
