As your pregnancy progresses, your nutritional needs do, too. Iron contributes to oxygen transport and red blood cell formation, while supporting baby’s cognitive development. Meanwhile Iodine supports normal thyroid function.

Still have questions? We're here to help

  • Yes. Our Food-Grown® Pregnancy + New Mother Multi is expertly formulated to support every stage of your pregnancy including breastfeeding. You and your baby will go through some key development shifts right up to, and post, birth. This supplement will help ensure intake of the nutrients you need for this journey.

  • Our formula was developed to support you and your baby throughout pregnancy and into breastfeeding, so there’s no need to stop taking it once you’ve given birth. In fact the ‘fourth trimester’ is often the most demanding, so your body will need even more support to heal from delivery, as well as face hormone shifts, low energy levels and lack of sleep.

  • We recommend you continue taking Food-Grown® Pregnancy + New Mother Multi for your 'fourth trimester', i.e. the months following birth and to continue till your baby is 12 months old. But you can use this for longer if you wish, especially if you are still feeling tired. We would recommend speaking to our nutrition team who can advise on how long you should continue. What if you are breastfeeding? We recommend you keep using the multi, for the duration of breastfeeding. If you are also using the Breastfeeding Support product, then speak to our nutrition team about how long to keep using that product and if you need to combine it with the multi.

  • As with all of our products, the dose of the Pregnancy capsules are designed to be taken all together. So that means the dose of 3 capsules is to be consumed in one sitting. If you wish to space them out, or are struggling to consume in a single sitting (3 capsules together) due to pregnancy sickness or another reason, you will need to discuss this with our expert Nutritional Therapist team. This is because consumption of specific nutrients at specific levels in pregnancy is very important and missing a dose must be avoided. Our expert Nutrition team are trained to provide qualified guidance, since they understand there may be struggles or challenges in taking supplements due to the normal nature of some pregnancy symptoms.

  • Yes, this is the multi that is designed to compliment your breastfeeding journey. In addition, you can also use our Food-Grown® Breastfeeding Support in combination with this multi.

  • Yes it does. In fact, it contains the more biologically active form of Folic Acid - Folate, derived from our Food-Grown process. Folate is easier to absorb and use because it is already activated, this is especially important for some women who are not able to activate standard Folic Acid genetically.
