Berry Boost Smoothie
Our Berry Boost blend has the sweetness of berries with a low glycemic impact on blood sugar.
Smoothies can be an excellent way of getting in a little more fibre and satisfying a sweet craving when we are reaching for a snack. The great thing about smoothies is you can interchange all the ingredients to your taste, swapping out the fruit, the milk or the seeds based on what you like and what you have at home. If you want to increase the nutritional value, throw in a handful of leafy greens too! This blend has the sweetness of berries but with a low glycemic impact on blood sugar.
Ingredients:

1 tsp Collagen 500 Plus

½ cup raspberries berries (frozen or fresh work well)

½ cup blueberries (frozen or fresh work well)

½ avocado
-
250ml almond milk
-
2 tsp hemp seeds
-
Optional 1 tsp organic honey for added sweetness
Method:

Cut the avocado in half and scoop out the green flesh being careful to remove the seed, add the flesh to a blender.

Wash the raspberries and blueberries then add to the blender.

Add the remaining ingredients to the blender and blitz until a smooth consistency forms.

Pour into a glass and enjoy.
