FAQs
Have questions? We have answers
Expert advice from our nutritional therapists is just a click or call away.
Can my daughter take this if she is not yet 13?
Yes, she can. We recommend this product from the age of 10 years if your child is showing clear signs/symptoms of puberty, and certainly if they have started their period. Pre teens need more nutrition than children, so we recommend you speak to our Nutrition team if you are not sure if your daughter requires a child or teen multinutrient.
My daughter eats well, does she really need to take a multinutrient supplement?
Multi nutrients are particularly important for growth and development of teen girls. Especially when in this modern world, they have less time to eat a fresh and balanced meal; to ensure intake of important nutrients at times of higher demand. The increase of intensive farming methods across the world has also meant that sadly our soil is gradually decreasing in essential nutrients such as Selenium, meaning that sometimes even the freshest fruit and vegetables may not always contain optimal amounts of vitamins and minerals. Teens also have higher officially recommended intake of nutrients, and they are using up nutrients at a higher rate. Teen girls with periods can easily lose nutrients such as Iron and Magnesium via menstrual blood. Therefore, supplementing with a powerful all-round multivitamin can ensure intake of vital nutrients at a time when nutritional intake is at its most important.
Can my teen take this alongside extra B Vitamins, Magnesium & Vitamin C?
Yes, they can.
Should this be taken with extra Vitamin D?
This is safe to combine with our Food-Grown® Vitamin D, and your teen may choose to supplement with extra depending on the time of year. Supplementation of Vitamin D is officially recommended during autumn and winter, however if your teen is unwell, staying indoors for extended periods of time or has dark skin, they will need to supplement all year round to reach the NHS recommended daily intake of 400iu.
Can I take this with other products in your range containing Zinc?
Yes, you can – the maximum daily intake of Zinc is 45mg. If you would like any further advice on this please speak to our Nutritional Team.
Can I take this product if I’m pregnant?
Our Pregnancy + New Mother Support formula already contains Zinc, so if you would like to supplement with more we recommend you contact our Nutritional Team for advice.
Can I take this product if I’m breast-feeding?
Our Breastfeeding Support already contains Zinc, so if you would like to supplement with more we recommend you contact our Nutritional Team for advice.
Can I take this product alongside your Food-Grown Fertility?
Absolutely, extra Zinc is great for conception.
Do I need to take this if I already eat oily fish?
The recommendation is to eat at least 2 portions of oily fish per week, anything less and supplementation should be considered to support your nutritional requirements.
Can I take this if I’m pregnant?
Yes, our formula does not include Vitamin A or any toxins, so it is safe to take during pregnancy. We would recommend taking our Pregnancy + New Mother Omega 3 which has been formulated specifically for those life changing four trimesters.
Does this Omega 3 contain Vitamin A?
No, it does not.
Does this contain PCBSs or any other toxins or heavy metals?
No, our fish oil has been independently tested and certified to be free of any toxic substances. Our certification exceeds the official EU & UK requirements, so you can rest assured that our formula is exceptionally pure.
Can I take this product if I am trying to conceive or undergoing IVF?
Yes, it is absolutely safe to take during preconception (including assisted fertility) and in fact is often recommended by experts for both female and male partners during this time.
Is this a cod liver oil or does it contain oil extracted from the liver of the fish?
No, the Omega 3 source is from sustainable Alaskan Pollock fish and does not contain any oil from the liver of the fish. Our formula does not include Vitamin A and has been independently tested and certified to be free of any toxic substances. Our certification exceeds the official EU & UK requirements, so you can rest assured that our formula is exceptionally pure.
