This smoothie will give you a nourishing kick start to the day. It contains lots of heart-healthy fats and protein to keep hunger at bay. The almond and coconut butter deliver a creamy texture. Almonds are also rich in Vitamin E, a fat-soluble vitamin that is uniquely suited to intercepting the damaging effects of free radicals

Ingredients

1 dessert spoon almond butter
Half an avocado
1 tsp. coconut butter/oil
2 tbsp. raspberries (or blueberries/blackberries - fresh or frozen)
1 dessert spoon manuka honey
Fresh ground cinnamon or vanilla powder to taste
Almond milk to cover

 

Instructions

Put all ingredients into a blender and blend!

Serves 2.
