Beetroot Zinger

Ingredients

2 beetroots, with leaves left on
1/2cm piece of fresh ginger
2 carrots, tops and bottoms removed
I orange, peeled

Beetroot is well known for its liver and blood cleansing properties. It contains a compound called salicylic acid (from which aspirin originates) that may help to combat headaches as a result of cleansing. They are also rich in iron, and the vitamin C in the oranges will encourage the absorption of this nutrient. Ginger is calming on the digestive tract and carrots contain the necessary antioxidants for repairing free radical damage associated with toxin overload.

Instructions

Juice all the ingredients and combine.
